Ballerina Dad: My Crazy Diabetes Fundraiser:
If I get $500 in pledges for JDRF, I will run the Vancouver Sun Run dressed as a 500 pound ballerina! I'm raising money for the JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION, to help my little 6-year-old ballerina. My daughter, Mikaela, has had diabetes since she was 2. She gets her blood tested 6-8 times every day, and she wears an insulin pump that is attached to her body all the time. And she really likes tiaras, tutus, and pink ballet outfits.
